Who is it for:
All Early Years practitioners i.e. Preschools and Nurseries, Childminders and Reception Class staff, working with children birth to 5 yrs. This course is also ideal for settings wishing to offer INSET for all their staff.

Course Description:
Level 1: PSED - A Unique Child - PSED and the Role of the Practitioner in Supporting PSED within the EYFS / SEAD / (Social, Emotional, Aspects of Development) and SEAL (Social, Emotional, Aspects of Learning) Framework

Learning Outcomes:

  • Explore the importance of relationships and experiences in the early years.
  • Understand why babies' and young children's ability to feel at ease with their caregivers is central to their well being and development 
  • Have a basic understanding of child and brain development linked to PSED.
