How we approach children in conflict and distress has a dramatic effect on their ability to handle relationship conflicts now and in the future. Children's conflict can be a huge source of worry and anxiety for practitioners who might feel they have few strategies to support the children in their care.
Handled with empathy and understanding, the process of conflict resolution can support children in:

- Expressing, naming and identifying feelings

Practitioners will have an opportunity to:
- Explore effective ways of handling disagreements or problem behaviours
- Explore the link between feelings, human needs and behavior
- Look at a number of practical, do-able approaches to take away with them
- Consider why saying "No" is a vital life skill for children and adults to develop.
