Community Building
Stars, night sky, water
Have we the courage to go on a journey together? Can you see the stars?
Would you like to know how to create an ethos where everyone can:
  • Handle conflict with confidence
  • Be honest without insulting each other
  • Listen to each other with care, openness and empathy
  • Transform blame and conflict
  • Stay in dialogue with each other even when things get difficult
  • Celebrate, have fun and move forward with purpose
Community Building: Create a Culture of Respect, Trust and Co-operation
This is a community development programme where participants want to work together to create a shared vision for their organisation. Too often we can become stuck in patterns of behaviour that erode confidence, increase blame, fault finding and conflict which ultimately prevents growth.

What is the purpose of the programme?

At the heart of this programme is developing and building a foundation of respect, trust and openness where everyone's needs are valued and held with care.

What are the benefits of the programme?
  • An increase in trust and communication
  • A greater understanding of conflict and how to work with it creatively
  • More effective decision making and use of time in meetings
  • A more co-operative working environment
  • Reduction in absenteeism
How might you work with us?
Step 1. I will come into your workplace to meet everyone. This will be an opportunity for me to hear about general issues and for me to outline possible ways we might work together.

Step 2. Where possible I will meet with everyone individually, to provide a safe, non-judgemental environment where we can explore people's experiences and needs within the organisation.

Step 3. This is a training day where we meet as a whole team to share and create a whole group vision where everyone's needs matter and are held with care and respect. We then explore and create steps for realising this vision.

Next Steps:
Ongoing support is offered both individually and for the whole group. For further information contact me.
