A way of inspiring respectful dialogue in schools
This accessible booklet by Marianne Gothlin and Towe Widstrand, experienced Nonviolent Communication trainers, will help teachers learn about Nonviolent Communication. The booklet offers experiences and examples of how non-violent values and attitudes can form the basis for democracy and fosters responsible members of society by means of education.
This booklet is a brief presentation of Nonviolent Communication and how it can be applied in education and support school development. We, Marianne Göthlin and Towe Widstrand, have implemented several projects in schools and introduced Nonviolent Communication to hundreds of teachers the last 15 years. In the booklet we share experiences and examples of how non-violent values and communications skills can form the basis for democracy and mutual respect in schools and how NVC can guide that practice.
We are hoping that this booklet will reach many teachers, educators, students and parents with information and inspiration.
